The Schoolhouse Lodge was established in 2001 in a family-owned former two-room school building in Bayou Meto. The lodge accommodates 14 over night guests in six bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and includes a full kitchen, grill house, boot room, dog kennels, along with a wraparound deck that overlooks a private pond and acres of cropland.
